Gears of War

I love Gears of War, I was playing it until my 360 broke down. Still, its a great reason to buy an xbox 360.My first impressions upon seeing cover art was mistaken. I thought that it would be a hyped up game that falls below everyone's expectations and mine. It may have to others, but this game really enticed my outlook on the future of the 360. Its so great shooting down enemies with a variety of guns, especially the revolver that can "explode" Locusts, the enemies in the game. Adding to the guns is the addition of the chainsaw, it feels so great as a strong defensive weapon because you can rush in with the saw and anything that gets in your way will get beat down. But don't rely on it against guns which the Locusts use. The story is also something thats great. In the future, Locusts have emerged underground with the intent on the end of the human civilization. Years later the humans are still at war with the Locusts and the Protaganists Dom and Marcus will have to find a way to get rid of them. Graphics are spectacular, sound is somewhat....fun but annoying. It's cool to hear the sound of weapons but in co-op it gets annoying because if you're playing with another person and he gets in front of you a voice from Dom of Marcus always pops up. Overall its a great game if you have or are in consideration of a xbox 360.
