Gears Of War

Reviewing: Epic Games Xbox 360
Purchased at: Gamestop     Price: $59.99 USD

Genre: Shooters are usually rehash the same ideas in their own ways, Gears is no diffrent, everything that you see here is just stuff that's seen in a lot of modern shooters like Ghost Recon.

Image/Sound Quality:This is one of the few redeeming features of Gears of War. The Graphics left much to be desiered, and a few colors would have been nice, as a lot of time, I cuoldnt tell the diffrence bewteen a locust and a wall (though in the case of the berzerker, that's one and the same). The sound, on the other hand, is fantastic. When you hear the scream of the affromentioned monster, you know darned well to get out of the way before you get hit. Also, being able to hear a Theron Guard's whispery voice call out "GROUNDWALKERS", you know there's going to be some serious stuff going down in a few minutes.

Maturity Raiting: This game is rated M for a reason people. From being able to cut an enemy in half, to foul language and subject matter, Gears is not for the younger audiences

3D/2D: I think this is one of the games that really begins to show what the 360 is cabeable of. Fluid movements, Realistic gravity effects,Gears is currently a prime example of what 360 graphics should be

Final Thoughts: I have to reccomend this game to people that Like shooters, or people willing to try it. With a decent learning curve, Gears is great for those who are looking for a new shooter, or those wanting to try the genre.
