By far one of the best games on the XBOX 360, Gears of war is likely a defining game for the XBOX 360 console and continues to be a bestseller. With some of the most beautiful environments and in-game detail, Gears of War offers a rich and vibrant visual experience for first-person-shooter fans. As well, the intuitive control layout makes for an easy game to learn and master. With a thick plotline and interesting characters, the first player mode of the game is entirely engrossing to the gamer. The multiplayer is every bit as fun if not more so with XBOX Live's highly active Gears of War community. This game is a definite title for any XBOX 360 owner and offers an unparalled FPS experience. Overall, a great buy and one which I would recommend to anybody!
