Gemsound GM-16 Unidirectional Microphone

The Gem Sound GM-16 unidirectional microphone is not all it is cracked up to be.It does produce good sound through the use of appropriate sound mixing techniques and proper amplification techniques but the microphone itself is not well made.The first microphone I received was improperly manufactured and the cord that led from the main amplification unit to the microphone did not fit the microphone because of a product defect.The defect was the triple prong side of the microphone was pushed back to far in the microphone for the cord to properly reach.However, the second microphone I received did work and the flaw of the original item shipped was not encountered.I would not recommend this product because of its design flaw.
