General Electric Universal AC-DC Adapter

A lot of electronic things I've bought in the stores from radios to CD players have a jack on the side for an AC adapter, but does not come packaged with one.Instead of going through hundreds of dollars in batteries, you can pick up a universal AC to DC adapter at your electronics store.This General Electric brand adapter comes with a lot of extra features so you can use one unit for many different electronics.A switch on the unit that plugs into the wall has six different voltage options: 3V, 4.5V, 6V, 7.5V, 9V and 12V.All you need to do is look in the instruction manual that came with your device to see which setting you need.For the end that plugs into a device, there is a whole set of different types of connectors that come packaged.This is especally convenient because there are way too many different kinds of end connectors that fit different kinds of electronics.For a price of $19, this was a great buy, because I have been able to use this to operate many different devices.I haven't needed to spend money on batteries, and don't have a bunch of miscellaneous adapters laying around.
