Genting Highlands Malaysia:The Fun Never Stops!!!

'Genting Highlands:The City Of Entertainment'

That is how it is known as. Genting Highlands is located at a hilltop at the border of Selangor, one of the states in Malaysia. The air there is cool and breezy and it is definitely a place to escape to from the hustle and bustle of the city!

There is an indoor theme park and an outdoor theme park. I experienced the spinner that is a thrill ride. It was definitely thrilling as it was a ride where I sat on a chair and went in circles at high speed! I also tried out Space Shot. Wow! I screamed my heart out and I could feel my heart is going to stop beating soon as I ascended slowly and plunged rapidly to the ground!

For those who doesn't like thrill rides, you can opt for family rides. I sat in a monorail that brings you around the outdoor theme park. It is definitely awesome because you can feel the cool air while enjoying a picturesque view of the theme park.

There is a casino there too for adults who feel like trying out their luck! There is a Ripley's Believe It Or Not Exhibition where you can see all the mythical things you see on TV!

The accomodation there is great too. I stayed at Awana Hotel that is at the foot of the hill. In order to get to the theme park I had to take a cable car that is about a 10 minute ride. It was a cool ride as I get to relax enjoying the greenery around.

As for the food, there are many types of cuisine such as Western, Chinese, Malay, Japanese and Korean to name a few. So you do not need to worry about no food to eat!!!

In conclusion, Genting Highlands is definitely a great holiday destination for the young and old!!!
