Genuine Quality

I love that Oshkosh B'Gosh has a line of clothing at Target, although I'm not sure what my husband feels on this subject as I come home with this line of clothing a lot!The clothing line is called Genuine Kids, and it has all the style and comfort of regular Oshkosh clothing, just at a lesser price.The toddler size of this line goes from 2T to 5T, the shorts pictured above are 4T.I expected them to be a bit bigger on my 2.5 year old, so that is a bit of a disappointment, I doubt he'll fit in them next year.

I found these adorable plaid shorts for my son and just had to have them.I've seen this style/fabric in many other stores, from Old Navy to JCPenney, the Gap and Macy's, but when I saw them at Target, at an affordable price I decided to get them.

The fabric is a bit lighter-weight than I would usually get for my son, but it's holding up really well so far, with no holes or pulling at the stitching or seams.This short features two functioning side pockets and a fake back pocket, zip fly and snap button closure.And my favorite feature of all is the adjustable waistband!I had tried to buy these big so that I could use the adjustable waistband and he would have them for a couple summers of use, but they actually fit him well with the waist let all the way out.However, if they were big on him, all I would need to do to adjust the fit is pull on the elastic inside the waistband and cinch the waist in, then secure it wherever I wanted it by placing a button through a buttonhole on the piece of elastic.This is a great way to ensure children of all sizes can wear clothing, sometimes for even a few years!

These shorts look so cute on my son, I'm glad I got them, and hopefully he'll be able to wear them next year too!
