Get A Grip...With Your Tires By K-mo on - Updated Sep 18, 2011

Building a truck that is your daily driver but also is super fast is a tough task. Finding tires to put that power to the ground and keep the ride safe, an even tougher task. My first set of tires would just spin and spin on the pavement and never could grip the road very well. I ended up burning through them in a year which is a ridiculously short tire life span. A buddy of mine recommended I check out his guys rim shop so I could find the right tires. Well I went to the shop and they put a set of Pirelli Scorpion tires on for me. Now the price is a bit steep at almost $200 a tire but wow was it worth it. These tires glued my truck to the road, I could take corners better, acelerate better, and the all around ride was better. I was tough on these tires and they lasted and lasted. Also, not only is the tire performance great, the tires themselves look great and realy have that high performance tire look. I recommend these tires to any truck/SUV owner that is looking for a great set of tires that will perform and last a long time.
