Get It Right With This Postal Scale By cnt24 on - Updated Sep 18, 2011

I had been looking for a postal scale and came across an auction on eBay for a deal that seemed too good to be true. I bid on and won a WeighMax Digital Postal Scale 50 Lb x 0.2 oz scale. My total cost, including shipping, was $11.99. The unit is sleek and unobtrusive sitting on my desk, and comes in a variety of colors to suit your office decor.

This scale has been a lifesaver for selling on eBay. I am no longer forced to pull out my bathroom scale and get inaccurate weights for items I have sold. Using my bathroom scale, I had to fork out additional cash to mail packages at the post office every time. This ate into sale profits.

The WeighMax digital postal scale has saved me time and money. I can now truly enjoy the luxury of purchasing postage for packages online--a true time saver. I can also accurately charge shipping and handling fees--a money saver for my customer and me.

The WeighMax scale is comparable to postal scales sold at the post office, however the cost is much lower. You have the option to weigh in grams, ounces, or pounds. You can lock in weights for bulky packages. It has auto shut off to save energy or battery (another great feature, it comes with a battery and an A/C outlet). It has Tare features. And WeighMax offers a 10-year warranty!

Wow! You REALLY did score a great deal on that scale! A postal scale is soooo much different than a bathroom scale. I hope it works hard and long for you and saves you lots of money!

For that price I'll buy one for home because I need accurate weight for the things I ship on Ebay!

This is a very useful review for someone like me who's thinking about starting to sell things on eBay. I have a feeling I would have gone down the bathroom scales route aswell! Thanks!

I had a very bad experience with Weighmax postal scale. The scale I bought didn't turn on at all. The company didn't take care of the defective so I ended up with buying another scale. The new one I bought is DIGIWEIGH 52 lb, which is working fine and looks much better. It is true that you get what you pay for.

Hi Jeff! Sorry to hear you had problems with your scale. I still have mine and it works beautifully to this day. I agree, in most cases you do get what you pay for. I got a deal here. Too bad yours turned out to be a lemon. Good luck with your Digiweigh!

This was a great deal! If you are an avid seller on ebay, then this is exactly what you need. I don't trust bathroom scales even for weighing myself. You will definitely save money on shipping. I can't believe that you get a 10 year warranty. Great find.
