Get Rid Of Those Germs By kaytidawg on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I've been using this toothbrush for about a month now, and I have to say, my teeth do feel cleaner. I don't know that they feel like they are fresh from the dentist's office, but I do have more confidence in my smile, especially it's smoothness and whiteness.

This brush is easy to use once you get the hang of it. Just make sure that you don't turn it on before you put it in your mouth or the paste will fly everywhere. Also, since the toothpaste tends to foam up, a little will go a long way.

Some of the improvements to this model from previous include the addition of a "massage" setting for cleaning your tongue and for those with sensitive gums. It allows for a lesser amount of vibration while still gettting the job done. When I first started using the brush, I used it on this setting, as it does take some getting used to if you have only used a manual toothbrush in the past.

Another perk is the UV sanitizer that's built into the base of the charger unit. Just snap off the brush head and place it in the sanitizer and push the on button. Apparently, the UV light kills any germs on the brush head in about 30 minutes. I don't know that it actually does anything, but it sure makes me feel better knowing I am taking the right steps to protect my health.

The price tag on this brush is pretty high, but I think it is worth the money. It will save you that much in dental bills. Also, two or more people can share the brush by interchanging the heads, so you really only need to buy one base.

I want one but can't afford it. Its like $170 more than I usually spend on a toothbrush.
