I love Turbo Tax and have been using it every year since 2004.
My tax situation has become increasingly more confusing in the past three years with moving, getting married, moving again, having a baby, and owning rental property.I also work in sales and have a lot of business expenses that my company does not cover.
I can literally pop in the turbo tax cd and within the course of a few hours be done with my taxes.I love the fact that they make it so easy for rental property owners to enter in all of their expenses.It also is great for those of us who run a business out of our home.
I make frequent clothing donations to Volunteers of America and the Salvation Army.Turbo tax provides for free the deduction finder software.It allows you to tell them what you donated to charity and it comes up with a fair market value for you.
We have always received a sizable refund thanks to using turbo tax and this year, I am happy to say, was no exception!
I think it is safe to say the whole country should be using this software. It is great. Thanks for sharing this information
My sister uses Turbo Tax for her taxes and I know she loves it! This is a great software and it's really nice how they make everything so easy for you to enter. Definitely a big money saver which puts more money in your pocket when your taxes are all done! :o)
I love Turbo Tax as well, they do great with our rental property, like you said. I aslo like how it automatically inputs your information each year so you don't have to re-type in all the basic information that doesn't change. Makes tax time a bit easier. :-)
Love Turbo Tax. It sure makes doing taxes easy. I have been using it for the past 4 years and wouldn't change. Even started doing my mom & dads. Hard to believe but they make doing taxes fun. Of course that is probably because I get money back LOL!
Our taxes are complicated too. So far I just haven't been willing to trust the software to figure it out.
The person who does our taxes uses Turbo Tax! Hopefully next year we will purchase this software & do our own taxes!!!!
I also love turbo tax and love how it saves all my information from prior years it has taken all the frustration out of doing my taxes.
We use Turbo Tax each year and have yet to have a problem.
The charity donation market finder sounds like a really nice feature. I give clothing and other assorted items to charity throughout the year, but I have to keep up with everything manually and guess at the worth.
I agree you can save some money if you do your own taxes online. If you don't feel comfortable than don't.
