Out of all the game systems that this family has owned this is the best one. We purchased the DS for my daughter at christmas.

The DSLite is a better version of the orginal version of the DS. It is lighter and brighter and even slimmmer. They come in several colors like black, coral pink, and white. There are also special issue ones that come in gold.

The system itself has 4mb of space. The battery life is pretty good as well it will stay going for upwards of fifteen to nineteen hours on the lowest brightness setting. It does have a wi-fi connection, which we really haven't messed with it alot.

My daughter's first game was the popular nintendo dogs which is really a great game. But my favorite game that she got was the Brain age, although it makes me feel really old. There are several games to choose from for the DS and you can even play gameboy advance games on it. They usually nine times out of ten put out new games based on movies like all gaming systems do.

You can buy several acessories for your DS they have ear phones, extra stylus's and cases to carry and protect you device.

Over all I really like this gaming sytems out of all of them. I would recommend this to anyone including the adults out there.
