Get Your Head in this DS Game
By Mean_Queen onWhat time is it?The time in your life to get the High School Musical: Makin' the Cut game for your Nintendo DS.This game is great for the HSM fan in your household.The story line of this game is not so bad girl Sharpay Evans recruits some of her school mates, and you, to join her on a cross country musical competition.Now, that alone sold my 8 year old daughter, because she loves Sharpay.But the part she had a hard time with is the actual game play.You have to tap the stylus to the beat to win the competition and move on to the next part of the tour.So you need good rhythm to play this, something my daughter is lacking.But she doesn't really care because it plays the original songs from the movie, so she just taps the stylus and sings her heart out.Her only complaint about the game is the characters don't look like the ones in the movie.They are cartoon versions.She'd much rather stare at the real Zac Efron.Again, that's not enough to turn her off of this game.I think anyone with a High School Musical fan should get this game.
Sounds like a great gift for this holiday with the popularity of this show.
Thanks for the useful comments. I had this on the list as a possibility for my daughter, but I think I'll move it down the list after reading your cons. My daughter would probably love it for the same reasons yours does, but I think we'll wait until she might have a little more rhythm if that's the object of the game.
