Purchased at: Grocery/Drug Stores     Price: $7.99 CAD

We all know that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. However, if you're like me, your mornings are rushed.Or, if you you're like my husband, you find it difficult to stomach a full breakfast first thing in the morning.Enter Carnation Breakfast Anytime!

We have both been drinking Breakfast Anytime! instant breakfasts for about six months now. They are pefect for us because they are quick, but not too heavy, they keep us feeling satisfied until lunch, and are an excellent way of getting vitamins and jump-starting our matabolisms in the morning

These instant breakfasts are a souce of Vitamin A, C, D, and B-Vitamins, as well as Calcium, Iron, and more. You can view the entire Nutrition Facts table HERE.

For those of us trying to watch our weight (Me!), try substituting 1% or skim milk in place of whole milk when mixing these drinks. You get the same vitamins, with less fat!I find that I like the taste better this way as well.

These drinks come in three flavours: chocolate, strawberry, and vanilla. My husband likes the strawberry best, and I prefer the chocolate.(It takes just like Carnation hot chocolate. Yumm!)Neither of us are a fan of the vanilla. We found it more sugary-sweet than just a smooth vanilla flavour. You can buy these in single-flavour boxes, or in a multi-pack that contains all three flavours.

The powdered mixes come in packages of 10 for $7.99.Carnation also sells Breakfast Anytime! in pre-mixed cans, that come in a case of 6 for the same price. We have only ever used the powdered version because of the price, so I can't comment on how the pre-mixed ones taste. However, if you're always in a rush, these might be handy to have, as you can grab them and go.

I highly recommend these vitamin drinks. They are great for the busy student and the working adult. You could even give these to kids who are picky eaters.Chocolate milk is a great way to disguise vitamins!
