Ghirardelli Milk Chocolate Peanut Butter Squares

I just bought these Ghirardelli Milk Chocolate Squares with peanut butter inside. I saw the commercial for this new peanut butter flavor and the ad makes it look simply delicious. The chocolates are individually packaged there are only 9 squares in the box / bag and it costs $3.99. To me this is overpriced to begin with but I love peanut butter and chocolate and just expected these to be high quality Reeses cups. The were so bad. It's not that the chocolate was bad, it was the peanut butter. First of all the peanut butter was chunky peanut butter and secondly it was dry not creamy at all like it looks in the picture. The peanut butter seems to be old, not fresh plus it leaves an awful aftertaste behind. I won't be buying these again in the future.
