As I had some spare cash, I decided to buy curtains for my home. It was that time I recieved a catalogue from Giant on Home furnishing sale. I rushed there with my husband to look for the collection. Many curtains were very thin and we looked for almost an hour in the store. A store assistant recommended the polycotton curtain that looked simple and was on special offer a few months ago.

The selection in shades were very few but we decided to choose the red curtains with golden thread print of rose flowers. It was the only shade that could block the sunlight. Since our 2 bedrooms have direct sunlight during the day and light from outside at night, we decided to choose the red shade. It not only blocks sunlight effectively but adds a festive look to the rooms.

Few visitors to our house asked about the curtains and sad that the color was so nice. The curtains are light weight and not too thick. It darkens the rooma bit. It has a small piece of ribbon to tie the curtains together or to move to obe side. It is like a fashion accessory and has added the beauty to the curtains.

The curtain rods are the same shade as that of the golden thread on the curtain. Everything together is matching and added the beauty of my home ineteriors. I will be using the curtains till Christmas and then changing to another shade after the festive season.
