Gift idea: Power scissors by BD

I was looking for one more item to give several people at Christmas, when I saw the end-cap display at Home Depot.Cordless Scissors?(These are really more like shallow bladed shears.)OK is this one more cheap gadget, or is this actually useful?I bought three.
I kept one for myself, and gave away the other two.Quickly I found it useful as I wrapped my purchases.When the kids opened their plastic encased toys, I used it to cut into it.When I repaired my screen, I used it to trim the screen material to size.Overall, this has many uses.
It is not excessively heavy and it slightly bent shape with cushioned handle.The battery seemed to last a good amount of time and charged quickly.
I would not call this a must buy, but it is a good gift idea.

I'm not a big fan of power scissors, but I think you found a couple of good uses for them.

Sounds like a great product. I will have to get some of those scissors . I would like to try it on cloth see how well it works there.
