I was looking for one more item to give several people at Christmas, when I saw the end-cap display at Home Depot. Cordless Scissors? (These are really more like shallow bladed shears.) OK is this one more cheap gadget, or is this actually useful? I bought three.
I kept one for myself, and gave away the other two. Quickly I found it useful as I wrapped my purchases. When the kids opened their plastic encased toys, I used it to cut into it. When I repaired my screen, I used it to trim the screen material to size. Overall, this has many uses.
It is not excessively heavy and it slightly bent shape with cushioned handle. The battery seemed to last a good amount of time and charged quickly.
I would not call this a must buy, but it is a good gift idea.

I'm not a big fan of power scissors, but I think you found a couple of good uses for them.
Power scissors? I've never seen these. They do sound like a good gift item though :0)

Sounds like a great product. I will have to get some of those scissors . I would like to try it on cloth see how well it works there.
