Gigantic Book Of Winning Science Fair Projects By Alicia Bodine on - Updated Sep 18, 2011

If you have school age children than you know every year there is a big science fair. I decided to get ready ahead of time by obtaining some science fair project books. That way my daughter could take some time to look over the subjects and experiments to see if anything interested her.

My favorite book so far is the Gigantic Book of Winning Science Fair Projects written by Bob Bonnet and Dan Keen. There are over 189 experiments to choose from. The big categories in this book are Energy, Chemistry, Physics, Electricity and Electronics, Generating Electricity, Solid-State Electronics, and Radio-Frequency Energy.

What I loved about this book was that each section gave an introduction to the topic. That way my daughter could understand what the experiments were based on and that better helped her choose a project. These projects are also written in the format that my daughter has to create her science fair projects in. For example it gives the purpose, overview, hypothesis, procedure, and results and conclusion. The illustrations are simple which is perfect for kids and there is a list of everything you would need for the experiment.

This book gets an A+ and your child will be able to use it over and over again.
