This deodorant works well in regular weather, but once it gets really hot it's effectiveness really diminishes. The main thing I like about it is that it is not sticky when you put it on. I have tried many of the gel deodorants over the years and many of the other ones leave me feeling sticky all day. This Gillette Clear Gel is sticky at first, but it does dry quickly. The scent of cool wave is okay. To tell you the truth, I don't even notice it that much. Which is a good thing as far as I'm concerned. Since it is a gel deodorant it does go quicker than then a solid deodorant would. Be prepared to be spend more money on this deodorant. A stick costs around $3. I have found that Walmart often offers a two stick package where you can save a little bit. This is a good deodorant.
