Although Father's Day is next Sunday, my daughter came by this weekend to visit and bring me a small gift because she was planning on going to the beach for a vacation next weekend. She also had drawn me a card rather than buying one, which is always a lot better if you ask me.

I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the gift bag. She got me the Gillette Fusion Value Pack ! Even though I wear a beard year-round, I still have to trim it and shave my cheeks and neck. Usually I buy the cheap disposable twin bladed razors, and I never really cared which brand it was because I was just going to throw them away after I used them, but after trying the Gillette Fusion today, I can see what all the fuss was about ! This system has four blades instead of two, which seemed to make all the difference in the world ! Instead of taking several strokes to remove the stubble from my neck and cheeks, I just used one smooth stroke and the job was done!

The Gillette Fusion razor that came in this value pack also came with two replacement blades, and a small can of Gillette Fusion Hydra Gel shave cream. I've used the old brush and barber's soap my Dad gave me over 20 years ago for... Well, lets see... 20 Years ! I was amazed at how little of the Gel it took to lather my whole face ! And when I was done, it left my skin feeling soft where I had shaved.

This was a great Father's Day gift ! I would have never bought this for myself to try because I guess I'm stuck in my old ways... I highly recommend this product to anyone in need of a (new) shaving system !
