Gillette Fusion Power Razor By Patrick on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

As a simple razor, this product works very well. However, for all it is hyped up to be, I am afraid I am a little disappointed. First off, it has 4 blades. I don't know how much more effect four blades can have than three, or how much better five could be than four. I personally just think the blade numbers war is getting out of hand. Also, this razor has a battery, and when switched on it is supposed to raise your hairs off your face for a closer shave, when in reality it simply causes the razor to vibrate on your face. I, personally, don't find this comforting. Getting past all the advertising, this razor is actually a very good razor. It shaves cleanly, the swivel head is very nice, and I love the single blade on the back for trimming my side burns. If you can ignore the claims by the maunfacturer, and simply focus on the razor, I think it is a great product. This is definitely a case where the ads take away from it.
