of course, we all know that a razor is only as good as its blade... and the blades on the mach 3 are excellently sharp and durable. ive never gotten a shave as smooth as the shaves i get from my mach 3. and speaking of many shaves, the blades also last way longer than any other razors ive used.
the razor has a small strip of 'microfins', and its purpose is to help your hair stand up straight so that you get a closer shave. the mach three also has a small conditioning strip, or 'comfort strip', that helps soothe your skin after the blades run over it. these two features arent all that they are hyped up to be by gillette, but they do help a little. the blades are also relatively easier to clean than most razor blades for some unknown reason.
it is very easy to shave with because the handle is designed so that your dont have to put ad much pressure on the blades, which helps to prevent cuts. it also feels good in your hand. the mach 3 is one of the best razors that ive used and i highly recommend it if you are looking for a better razor.

Is it wierd that I'm female and I still use this razor?
This is the only shaving system my husband will use. The blades are a tad bit expensive where I'm located but when you figure out that you're paying for 8 replacement blades that can last an exceptionally long time, the cost is definitely worth the performance. So far he's not found any system that he likes better than this one. Thanks for the info.
