Gillette Skincare Cleansing Wash By Patrick on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I was actually kind of excited when I first bought this product. I have used a few different Gillette shaving products, such as razors and shave gel, and have been very impressed with how well they worked. Once I tried this face was for the first time, however, I was pretty disappointed. The wash lathers nicely, and is easy to use, but it does not smell pleasant at all. It has a musky, old after shave scent, that doesn't really do much for me when I am trying to wake up in the mornings. For a face wash, I personally would like something that is a little more refreshing, and since it is going on your face, and your nose, a better smell shouldn't be too much to ask for. It does seem to work alright, but feels a little oily, and doesn't leave my face feeling clean for very long. I would recommend shopping around a little, you might like this product, so give it a try. It is unscented and soap-free so it is good for sensitive skin, but I am not a big fan.
