GIVE YOUR DOG A STAR

We got this dog treat for both of the dogs in our family for Christmas.I thought it was cute beause it looked like a Christmas decoration.So I bought two of them to give as gifts.
They are made of a hard rawhide.It hasn't been dyed, which I think is a good thing.I don't like giving artificial colors to our children much less to the family pets.The edges are sewn with green colored rawhide but at least it's just a little bit.If you shake the star you can hear that inside there is a special treat.Of course I couldn't see what was in the middle of the star until after the dogs had started to chew on it.One side cameapart and I could see that it was a flaky ball made of the same white rawhide.It was probably from the leftovers after cutting the star out of the rawhide.
The dogs like to sit and lick it for a bit and then they start chewing the star.They did play with it at first like a throw toy but now it's just about gone.Maybe I should have bought a couple more for them!
Cute and inexpensive........and according to the dogs......delicious!
