Give Your Eyes Hope With Eye Hope! By RachelReviews on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
I snagged a 2 mL sample of philosophy eye hope by doing a swap with a friend. I am pretty thankful I received this anti-aging eye cream in the trade. The last eye cream I tried, Mario Badescu Hyaluronic Eye Cream, was pretty disappointing and I was dying to find a better alternative!
My "Holy Grail eye cream" would nourish my eye area, be matte, preserve youth and soothe around my eyes.
When I apply eye hope, it feels very creamy, yet light. It is virtually unscented. I smell a tiny bit of vanilla scent, but it is barely there.
Even when I apply it liberally, it absorbs well and dries matte. Matte! I can barely believe it!
I thought the area under my eyes looked brighter and any puffiness had gone away. I think the puffiness was taken down by the coffee arabica extract (an anti-inflammatory) in the cream. The area under my eyes looked brighter because of "optical brighteners" in the cream, like mica. The cream also contains firming agents like palmitoyl tripepetide-3 and dipalmitoyl hydroxyproline.
I don't want to jinx anything, but I think I might have met my "Holy Grail."

Oh how intriguing!! I have been occassionally using Oil of Olay with great success, but this sounds nice and I LOVE vanilla :-)) I heard about an amazing product by "Boots" called No.7 Age something or other - you may want to check it out online - it is apparently THE best on the market - I just don't know where to find it in the States - Im calling my mum in Scotland to send me some, lol!!!
Looks like you get some good samples! You should check out www.reliablefreebies.blogspot.com to see what else is out there that you may be missing!
