Glade French Vanilla Aerosol Spray By Willow on - Updated Sep 18, 2011

I have been using Glade aerosol air-freshening sprays for many years, and I like most of the fragrances this brand offers. This one, however - French Vanilla - turned out to be a disappointment. When I first purchased it, I fully expected to like it since vanilla is one of my favorite fragrances. I tried the spray at the store, and the familiar, sweet candy-like scent of vanilla seemed good. Yet, when I began using this aerosol spray at home, the smell was too intense (probably because of a smaller space?), to the point of unpleasant. Besides - and that was the deal-breaker - I had soon found out that this air-freshener does not eliminate unwanted odors. It only covers them up, somewhat, and mixes with them, creating even worse smells.

The only way I could use this product was spraying just a little bit of it in larger rooms of the house to make the fragrance not so intense.
