Gloria Vanderbilt Amanda Jeans By Efellai By efellai on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I have been wearing this style of jeans for years--they're the the best fit on the market. They are very comfortable, and come in a pretty good range of colors, as well as sizes. The colors do not fade. Unlike some other jeans I've bought, they have never had a problem with buttons coming off in your hand or zippers that won't stay up. They don't need ironing, and start out beautifully crisp from the dryer, becoming more rounded--but not wrinkled--as you wear. Unfortunately, these jeans have no wear life. Within a year, there are holes rubbed in the inner thighs, and there is no way to fix it. This area pills within a month, and will be worn through in as little as six months, depending on how often you wear the jeans and how vigorously you move while you're in them. I hate that the best fitting jeans on the market are so flimsy! Even for the low sale prices you can occasionally find on these jeans, it becomes financially painful to buy pair after pair, especially when you know that if other jeans would fit, they could last for years.
