Glucose Meter By Chris Kong on - Updated Sep 18, 2011
Pro: The monitor is small and easy to carry around. The test strip can pull blood in so does not need much drop for testing. Easy to use . The memory syatem is good can record up to 400 readings and just with one button it can calculate seven days average , fourteen days average and thirty days average automatically . Large number display.
Cons: Take quite long to show the reading , around 45 seconds. The strip should be individually packed . Individually packed strips will be better for those who are not testing their blood sugar every day , then there will be no fear of exposing the strips to oxygen. Price is expensive for the meter and the strips. Once in a while , error do come in when the blood drop does not fully cover the allocated area.
Accu-chek Advantage III Purchased at: pharmacist Price: RM 300

Haha.. accuchek is equally good except for the strips which are not individually packed.
45 seconds does seem like a bit of time to get your reading!! It still sounds like a great meter though!!
Sounds like a good meter, I am not to familiar with them.. thanks for the info
I haven't tried this meter yet...i have several others that I typically use, but this one sounds like a good one too.
I have this same meter, I have been fairly pleased with it.
I love accucheck , they have wonderful after sale service..
A good way to check your blood sugar level is vital both for diabetics, and for hypoglycemics like me (which I could probably cure with some diet changes; sigh. Wish I were fonder of healthy foods) Even if this is slow and pricey, it does sound fairly good!
This sounds like a nice meter.
