Looking for a way to improve my skin, hair and nails from the inside out, I decided to supplement my diet by taking additional essential fatty acids orally. GNC had Omega Essentials 3 - 6- 9 at a great price (I'm a Gold Card member) so I picked it up.
You take 1 to 3 softgel tablets daily. This supplement is also safe for children over 5 and they can take 1 softgel daily. Each softgel contains:
Flaxseed Oil - 400mg
Borage Oil - 400mg
Fish Body Oil - 400mg
Vitamin E - 7.4mg/10IU
Omega 3 (ALA, EPA, DHA) - 332mg
Omega 6 (LA, GLA) - 283mg
Omega 9 (OA) - 173mg
It also contains Gelatin. So if you have an allergy to Gelatin or are Vegan, do not buy this product.
The size of these softgel tablets are HUGE! I've found that sometimes they are difficult to swallow and cause me to gag. Drinking a lot of water when you take these softgel tablets help them to go down easier. I have truly benefitted from this supplement. My skin seems to 'glow' and is softer and my hair is shinier. Also, Omega 3- 6-9 is good for your heart!
