Every girl needs a trusty deodorant that will keep her fresh all day and at the same time, to whiten underarms (or prevent from darkening). I had tried a variety of whitening deodorants in the market, none of them really made effect, but I settled for Godiva Licowhite Anti-Perspirant Deodorant. It is said that underarm darkening can be caused by strong fragrances, alcohol and chemicals that are contained in most deodorants. But Godiva deodorant is alcohol-free and very mild to the skin. It also has licorice, an active whitening ingredient. Godiva Deodorant is applied at bedtime. yes you heard right, at bedtime. According to them, it takes time for anti-perspirant actives to shrink the skin's pores, so Godiva makers recommend application before bedtime for maximum results. I don't recommend this when you have an overtly active lifestyle, coz the deo wears out easily. I apply it twice a day, to get a whole day of underarm protection. It does not stain my clothes, but I heard some people who perspire easily especially in the underarm area stained their clothes. You must be very patient and meticulous in applying before bedtime, it might take a while to get effective results. But it will be worth it coz this is the only deodorant I tried that effectively whitens and can reduce underarm darkening.
