Hi Friends, I am giving you permission to use this review as your personal invitation to come visit me downunder.

One of the first day trips my family did after I moved here was to Soverign Hill. Now being from Georgia orignally the whole gold minning town theme was not new to me, but when we got there I promise I was so amazed. This is not just a "theme town" this is still a way of life to these people who still live in this town. The gold mine is still working,and pretty much all else is the same. I guess if you could imagine the gold rush era alive and well today, that is Soverign Hill. There has been accomodations added for the tourist and the B&B's have modern immenties but the town is as if time has stood still. We panned for gold and we rode around the town in a horse drawn carrige and we even went down into Red Hill Mine. At night the town holds a light show depecting the Eureka Rebillion, it is simply amazing. Come on down, we will put on the barby and it'll be no worries !! :)
