Gold Strike Hotel By Jennifer Adams on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
Once every weekend, my daddy takes us to Tunica, Mississippi for an overnight stay in the luxurious hotel of Gold Strike. The rooms are marvelous, with the high floors getting great views. The carpet is hard and rough, but who cares. We don't sleep on it. The curtains have two layers so we can sleep without the sun bothering us. The beds are soft. The pillows are filled with feathers and they are very very soft and comfortable. I love the lamps, because they use lightbulbs that conserve energy and they are very stylish. There is a flat screen TV in every room with cable. The bathroom is marble, with a bathtub and they supply us with sample sized shampoo, conditioner, soap bars, and bubble bath soaps. They also supply us with an ironing board, hangers, and a blow dryer. They also have a pool and a relaxing spa. The lobby is also gorgeous. They have soft red chairs and some multi- colored leather seats. The food court has a total of three places to order from, including Burger City, Pizzeria Fresh, and Gold's Deli. This hotel is a great place to hang out.
