Ive used different hair lightning products before and most of them do nothing but turn your hair color to orange! Light'ning Gel by Golden Sun is an exception to that rule. I love to use it to lighten my hair or to provide added sun kissed highlights where and when I need it. It recommends that you apply the gel and then leave it and wear it as a style agent. I do and then I add a little water if it starts to get really dry. Ive also applied the product and then either layed out to tan so the sun hits my hair or Ive also tried applying heat to my hair by using the hairdryer. Both methods produced great results. The only negatives about this product have to be the odor, in which the peroxide smell is very strong. The consistency of the gel is very sticky and can be a slight challenge to apply. Overall I think the product is great despite a few minor inconsistencies.
