Goo Gone Cleaner 8oz.
By Tink onMy daughter arrived at the airport with gum stuck on her activewear pants. She didn't see that there was gum in her seat until after she got up from a long flight. We went to the store to find this product called Goo Gone. She told me that it worked well to take stickers off glass or ceramic surfaces. It can be used to remove grease, tar, crayon and tape too.I read the bottle and it said it was safe for clothing as long as you didn't use it while wearing the clothes. You cannot use it on silk, leather, suede or rubber products. We treated the pants and had to do a little manual scrubbing, but it did remove all the gum! It has a great citrus scent. It's very concentrated so you will only need to use a small amount of the Goo Gone. I washed her pants in my washer, separately, after removing the gum.I am 100% satisfied with the power of this cleaner!

Interesting... haven't heard of this before. It must be related chemically to some amazing stuff I was given once by a county road worker's wife who had some gooey stuff for removing tar that the road commision gave her.
My husband use to sell this stuff in Home Depot and we always have a bottle handy. Works every time!
