Goo is GREAT!
By donnabc onWith the price of everything sky-rocketing, I try to do whatever I can to save some money. So, when my son informed me that his two month old sandals were coming appart I was determined to find a way to save them.
After some research, I decided to give Shoe goo a try.And I am soooo glad that I did.For about $5 I bought a tube that will repair quite a few shoes.I have already used the goo to reattach the soles of my son's sandals and sneakers.Yaaaa! It has already more than paid for itself! And I now have some time to shop around for a pair of sneakers on clearence :0)
A few notes about this stuff though, it DOES stink.I did my repairs on my back porch so the fumes didn't get in the house. And the box does warn to use only in a ventalated area. Also, I read on the internet that for best results, to lightly sand the surface you are trying to reattach and I did do this too (the directions on the product do not say to do this).
PROS:Super simple to use.Cheap.One tube can do quite a few repairs.
CONS:Stinks.

With a house of six we can use this stuff. Shoes get costly around here.
Me either Donna! One son wears a size 16 man's shoe and the other a 9 1/2 in men's. So finding bargains and keeping them in good shape only makes sense. I love this shoe Goo, it really can save you significant money.
I will have to get some of this i hate when I buy new shoes and they don't last!
I will definitely check this out, at 14EEEE and 15 EEEE my boys shoes even on sale cost a fortune. This is something we can definitely use. Thanks Donna
What a nifty idea...the only one in our family who seems to have problems with his shoes is my husband...but his shoes are usually expensive and last til he has holes in the soles :) (work) but I'd definitely consider trying this on them if they need repairs that this can fix. Great info thanks
This is the second good review I've read about this product today. I wasn't aware of it before, but I'll be looking for it!
