Good Eats For Toddlers By missholly on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
Gerber Graduates For Toddlers Lil' Entrees are a very cute idea. They come in several flavors and are neat and easy to use. They only require about 30 seconds to cook and they are ready to eat. The portion sizes are just right for a toddlers little tummy so there is less wasted food.
My daughter is 18 months old and I bought her a variety of these Lil' Entrees to try. She is a picky eater and I thought that maybe these would help us get some veggies into her on a more regular basis. She has now tried all the flavors available and the review is mixed. I have personally tried them and I can see why she doesn't like some of them. The food overall is bland. I know that Toddlers don't need a lot of spice but some would be nice. I found that I had to add a little bit of salt substitute or cheese to the veggies for her to eat them.
The flavors that are a big hit in my house are the spaghetti and the macaroni and cheese. She doesn't care for the turkey and gravy at all.
Over all these are good little meals. You might find that you have to add a little something extra to them for your kids to really enjoy them but they are worth the price for the convenience they offer.
