Good except no airbag

Reviewing: Perodua Viva

This is the newly launched car by Perodua.

Pros:The interior of the car looks very space efficient for a small car of 660 c.c. It has DVVT variable valve timing and FEVE engine. Pretty impressive for a car with maket price of only RM 28 400. The fuel consumption is 18.7 km per litre which is indeed very economical for town ride. All the four doors can be opened much wider than other Perodua car. There is even a tray for storage under the passenger seat since theft of valuables in car are so rampant now and the designer do take this point into account. For audio there is radio and cassette player which is more than enough for my listening pleasure during driving. There is a lot of le room and headroom for a tall person like me.

Cons: The only thing I can think of is: Why there is no air bag in this model while the 850c.c. and 1000c.c. all have airbags. Are lower income group of people's life cheaper?

You are right. Absense of air bag is something concerning. May be the company is too wondering why they missed this special feature.

That is a good question. You'd think all cars would have them in today's market and for what they charge for cars these days.
