Good In Bed By Jennifer Weiner By anninwaterloo on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I bought "Good In Bed" by Jennifer Weiner in a set of bestselling books, so I wasn't sure what to expect. From the title, I was assuming it was a silly chick-lit beach read. However, I was happy to find out it was a complex story about family, relationships and betrayl....and hope.

Cannie Shapiro is the plus-sized heroine of "Good In Bed", and is struggling to find her way after recently breaking up with her long-time boyfriend. The breakup is made harder when her ex spills their secrets in his new magazine column, in which he discusses his true feelings about Cannie's full figure.

Then Cannie discovers she is pregnant, and the ensuing year brings heartache, discovery, healing, dispair, and love. This book takes you in the exact opposite direction you think it will, making it a genuinely unique and pleasing read!
