Reviewing: De Longhi Mtr2000 Oil Filled Radiator
Purchased at: Currys (Online)     Price: $69.00 GBP

With the winter chill really kicking in I decided to invest in a portable oil-filled heater that I could move around my flat when a little extra heat was needed.I chose the DeLonghi model because it was stylish and functional, and would provide more power than a small fan heater.I had also bought a fan heater a couple of years ago and whilst it was much cheaper it did not last more than one winter so I figured that I would invest in something a little more durable this time.

So far I have been very impressed with this heater.First of all I do like the design, and while it is sturdily built it is still lightweight enough to move around - the wheels make it easy to move especially on a laminated floor. The cable isn't particularly long which does restrict where I can put it in each room, but this is not too big a deal as the heat fills the room eventually, plus the radiator heats up very quickly even on the low power setting.I also like the thermostat feature which means that I can set it to turn on and off when needed and the overheat cut-out function also improves the safety of the product - I really like this feature as I feel more comfortable leaving it on for longer periods of time.

Overall I think that the DeLonghi MTR2000 Oil Filled Radiator is a great product - lightweight, functional and powerful.I think that this is an excellent supplement to my central heating when the English winter gets particularly bad!I do not expect to use it all of the time but more on an occasional basis when the temperature really plummets and I want a little extra heat; if this is the context in which you intend to use it then it definitely will not disappoint.
