good value calculator
By BillF onTI 34 multiview calculator is solar powered with a screen big enough for 5 lines of formulas or functions. It can do statistics, functions with 40 keys and 2nd key and four direction button. you can do most functions except graphing function and is a excellent vule if it meats your need / requirements. I have used it for about eight months with no issues, problems or limitations. the largest challenge is training a new user how to use the more exotic funtions with it almost 100 page user manual. My estimate is it would take the average user 20 to 40 hours to use its full capabilities. fwere to improve its design it would be to make more intuative and easier to use the more complicated functions like statistics or formulas to keep the training to a minimum. This is especially frustrating for people whom have used computer based statitical packages where you can type in the data and get range, mean, and satandard deviation with little or any training and not needing to understnad the order of the keys to get the common answers. This calculator tries to find a middle ground inbetween the four function one dollar calculator and the graphic calculator at about 100 dollars.

This sounds like a good calculator. I don't like the one I have now and I may consider switching to one like this. Thanks for sharing.
