Good value scanner

We have had this scanner for five years. It was already pretty cheap when we bought it brand new. We use it at the store, so that means it is being used daily. But it is still pretty good.

I can scan high resolution images there. But of course, the image quality is not that good, but for our purposes and for the price, that is enough for us. So far, it has never conked out on us. One problem though is the speed. For high quality images, it will take several minutes to load the preview and then the actual scan.

We can scan images up to a full long-size bond paper. Anything bigger than that will have to be scanned in different parts and just composed in Photoshop.

For a not so popular scanner brand, the Mikrotek has given us good service.
