Goodbye Cellulite By Nykkee on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I think I may have been expecting too much from this product when I first bought it. I use other products from Nivea and like them very much so I expected this product to live up to my expectations, but sadly it did not. There is nothing inherently wrong with this product, it just didn't quite deliver the results that I was hoping for.

The product is a blue gel containing L-carnitine, which is supposed to get rid of cellulite when applied to the skin on a regular basis. It has an okay scent and feels mositureizing when you apply it, but it does take quite a bit longer than a regular lotion would to absorb, and if you put clothing over it before it drys completely it will make the clothing stick to your skin. I followed the instructions and applied it twice a day, to the applicable areas, everyday for a month. My husband says he sees a difference, but I think he is just being nice. I really don't think it did much, and although I might try a second tube if I saw it one sale cheap enough, I won't buy a second tube for $12. I have not given up completely on this type of product and will try at least one more cellulite product before I make a judgement on cellulite products as a whole. I really don't think I got any better results from this product than I would have from any regular firming lotion.
