Goodnight Moon
By Tina Lehman onGoodnight Moon, by Margaret Wise Brown, has just celebrated its 60th year in publication. It is read by more children today than ever and is now considered a classic.
This book is about a little rabbit getting ready for bed, who says goodnight to everything in his room.A comb, a brush, mittens, and kittens are only a few of the things pictured that little bunny says goodnight to.My daughter loves this book, probably because she loves doing the same thing. She also enjoys finding the little mouse that is hiding on each and every page.
This book has bright, colorful illustrations by Clement Hurd (if you look hard, you can find one of his Runaway Bunny paintings on the wall of bunny's room). We have the board book version and it has held up through many many readings.I highly recommend this book for kids as young as toddlers.

MWB books are so beautiful. Nice to see a parent choosing some classics.
I love this book. I bought it for my granddaughter when she was born. When she stayed overnight at my house we always made this the last book we read before she went off to sleep. After awhile she became aware that it was this book and then to bed...so she didn't want me to read it anymore LOL .......V:)
We've given this book to each of our grands and with my twin nieces to be born "any second" I've already purchased their copies.
Yes, a very fine Classic indeed. I have this on my shelf with all my old kids books! V:)
this was a popular book in our house too
