Goodnight Moon is classic for babies

Goodnight Moon by Margaret Wise Brown is a classic children's book that many children read before they go to bed at night.For this reason, I was super excited to receive it as a shower gift before my child was even born.I am an avid reader and I really want to instill a love of reading in my child.I began reading bedtime storied to her at a very young age then (before she could read or even understand).Reading just became a part of our bedtime ritual and this was the book I read most often.

The illustrations have bright colors to catch a little one's eye.I was impressed that they are also filled with great detail to keep me interested, as an adult.It was fun to look for the mouse on each page, for example.I also love the story and rhythm of the book.I learned it by heart in no time at all!Now that my daughter is big enough and able to choose a book to read off her shelf, she continues to choose Goodnight Moon and I'm sure she will for many years to come.
