Goodyear Allegra Tires
By Tink onAfter buying a gently used mini van last year, we decided to invest in 4 new tires.We chose Sam's Club to buy our Goodyear Allegra tires.The tires that came with the van were okay but starting to show the wear from the previous owner.
Each Allegra tire was priced at $71.58.A strange price for a tire, I wondered why such an odd price!Never did find out why, but they also informed us that we were going to be charged a $12.00 per tire in addition to the $71.58.This was called their special tire-installation package.This package includes a lifetime balance and rotation service. We have already used this free service once since owning the new tires.We will be scheduling another balance and rotation in 6 more months as recommended by the service manager at Sams.
This special program also features a lifetime flat repair service.They told us that if any of the tires would need to be repaired, by a patch or a plug, it would be done free of charge. If the tire could not be repaired it would be replaced free.Great lifetime guarantee!If we should happen to sell the van, the new owners would not be able to continue the warranty.It only applies to us since it is in our names.
I like how the van handles the road now that we have the new Allegra tires.We have great traction on the road.We live in Ohio and we have experienced snow, slush, rain and dry roads with these tires.No complaints at all!In fact we have experienced all four conditions within one weeks time!Ohio is famous for our weather fluctuations.
This is a great choice if you are looking for an all weather tire.It has nice wide treads, which I know will give us even wear on the tires, providing us with a longer tire life. The Allegra has a 75,000 mile tread life limited warranty.Goodyear has been around for more than 100 years and has always been a trusted name in tires with their quality.

after recently purchasing some new tires, these sound like they were a great deal. I know the ones we got did not include the extras like flat repair, and free rotations. This will save the wear on the tires will end up lasting you much longer.
Sam's Club does have a great package. The only other place that does is Big O tires, making both places excellent choices for buying AND maintaining your tires.
Sam's is awesome and they have a really great team of experienced tech people working on cars. They have an extensive tire selection too. Great choice for a min van!
these sound like good tires, the next time I am in the market for some, I will take a look at these Goodyear tires!
I also bought Goodyear tires, but got mine @ Costco. I think the deals are similar.
