Goodys Extra Strength Headache Powders By willoughbyclan on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I purchased Goody's Extra Strength Headache Powders at CVS for $1.49. Each package is a cardboard box wrapped in plastic. You must tear off the plastic and then open the box. Once you have opened the box, inside you will find (6) individually wrapped powders. Each wrapped powder contains 260mg of acetaminophen, 520mg of aspirin and 32.5mg of caffeine. The dosage for adults is (1) powder every 4-6 hrs not to exceed (4) powders in a (24) hour period. You can either place the powder on your tongue and wash it down with liquid or you can stir the powder into a liquid. I chose to place the powder on my tongue the first time because I wanted to see if it had a bad taste. IT DID TASTE BAD! I thought I was going to choke by inhaling the powder as I tried to swallow it. I don't recommend that method! The powder didn't work any better than typical pain relievers. I do not plan on purchasing anymore of this product. The powder can very easily fall out of the wrapper if you are not careful, there is nothing holding it in the wrapper but the fact that the wrapper is folded over the powder. I don't feel the need to deal with the extra hassle of a powder when I can get the same result from a pill.
