Gorgeous Dress from Soga!
By edev5 onWhen my brother was about to be married, he asked me to be his brides bridesmaid because she didnt have any. I didnt mind at all, but then I was confused of what to wear. He said that it was going to be a purple party; all would be decorated with purple color. So I decided to get my own bridesmaid gown, a purple one. I went to my regular designer after I bought the material needed for the gown. We had agreed on her design and made an appointment on the fitting day. Weeks passed, and it was a week just before my brothers wedding day. It was fitting day, and I went there. To my surprise, the designer that I trusted didnt finish the gown. In fact, she hadnt even started anything with the gown! The fabric and material hadnt been touched at all. How disappointed I was! She said she was so busy with many orders that came to her. Geez.. very unprofessional! Terrified and mad, I grabbed my fabric and went out to seek another designer. It was almost the day and I still had no gown to wear... :(
Luckily, I found Soga, a not-so-famous fashion design & production house, located in my hometown. They have a showroom at a mall, so its very easy to reach. The designer looked very convincing and after I told her what I had just been through, she felt sorry for me and promised to help me the best she can with the gown. She started to make sketches for the gown, asking me about how I wanted it to be, and all other details. She measured my size, and agreed on the fitting day (just three days after that). When the fitting day came, it was fully done and it really fitted me, just perfectly. Gosh... it was a relief when I knew I had my gown, finally...
The designer of Soga is very creative. She made this bridesmaid gown almost like a brides gown, only it doesnt come with the tail. The fabric that I bought was of satin purple, and brocades. She had the idea of putting the brocades at the bosom part, and all the way down diagonally through the back. The rest of the gown is satin, and there is some kind of folding design at the left side just alongside from below the bosom til the very bottom of the gown. Running through the edge of this folding part are the seed beads. Some beads are also put at the brocades to make it somewhat glittering. The designer made some kind of flower from the satin to be put on the left side below the brocade part. The seams are very neat, I must say. And the zipper at the back is made of high quality one. This is a strapless model, and the best thing is that the designer had already put the bustier inside it so I wouldnt have to bother to wear strapless bra. As for the bonus, the designer gave me two scarves with matching color, with two different seed beads design alongside the edges of each scarf.
All in all, Im very satisfied with the service Soga gave me, although they priced me a much higher price for the design and the making process, actually it exceeded my budget range for making a bridesmaid gown. But hey, I got what I paid for! Never been thankful enough to Soga who had helped me so much in this... :)

Very pretty. Glad everything worked out. (O:
Very beautiful! Love the color, and it was worth a little more money to get it done quickly!
This dress really beautiful. I like it. The color is so soft.
