Got A Bad Sun Burn? This Stuff Really Works! By Bobbi Mckenney on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

My husband and our youngest son is VERY light complected. My husband always works on cars and when it is really hot outside he always takes his shirt off. Of course he ends up looking like an lobster. He was in pain due to a BAD sunburn and could hardly stand to even wear a t-shirt. I found this Aloe Vera pain relieving gel at Walgreens. It has lidocaine (which is the numbing agent) & Menthol which acts as an Analgesic ( it acts like a pain reliever). Once I put it on my husband back almost instatnly he said he was feeling signifigant releif. It stayed that way for about 3 hours before I had to reapply it. It also conditions the skin because of the Aloe Vera. He said that "his skin did not feel like it was ripping anymore." I feel that this is better that the plain ole aloe vera gel that you can buy. The size of the bottle I bought was 16oz and a little goes a long ways! It is an cost effective product and I highly recommend it.
