I have already did a review on a hugo that is used in Tae Kwon Do. Well, you can not use a hugo without the proper headgear.

My son does not spar a lot, but when he does I want to make sure his head is properly protected. I trust Century Martial Arts brand to full fill that.

This is a student headgear. It protects the head from kicks. It is well padded, especially around the side of the head and around the ear area. It has a hook and loop elastic strap. This does not pinch the skin when strapping but it keeps the headgear properly fitted.

This particular headgear comes in different colors, although the most common color you see out in the martial arts world is White, which is the color my son has.

Although at my son's level and age they don't allow head kicks but accidents can happen in a sport that involves kicks and jabs. So when he is accidentally kicked in the head (which has happened), I am glad he is wearing a head gear I can trust that will keep him protected.
