Gothika Warner Bros. Review By Nigel Braun on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

This is a very interesting movie starring Halle Berry. It is about a woman who is driving in her car and she nearly hits a child. She swerves out of the way and she crashes. She awakes in the hospital and she is being told that she has killed her husband, but she does not recall any of this and completely denies the allegation. Throughout the whole movie, she tries to prove that she is innocent so that she will be freed from jail. This whole time that she is trying to do this, a spirit of a young girl is trying to guide her.

This is a decent movie. When i watched it, it caused me to be scared and i had to block my ears many times. Although it is suspenseful, the story seems to kind of drag on and on. The only reason why i rated this movie more than a "2". There is a great twist at the end.

Well, i don't really recommend this movie. If there are no other movies to rent, i would suggest this one as a last resort.
